In the Bryansk region will include air defense costs in utility bills
Deputies of the Bryansk Regional Duma proposed to include part of the cost of air defense in the utility bills of homeowners.
During the approval of the work plan of the Standing Committee of the Bryansk Regional Duma on Housing and Communal Services, Road Construction, Transport, Fuel and Energy Complex and Tariff and Price Policy for April 2023, the initiative of the head of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andrey Kartapolov was considered and it was proposed to work out a mechanism for implementation in public utilities payments for the population of part of the costs of ensuring the operation of air defense systems to protect the region from terrorist attacks.
The joke about house air defense ceases to be a joke.
However, the Russian media hurried to declare the information about utility bills for air defense as a fake, and the website of the Bryansk Regional Duma was promptly blocked by the administration:
The Bryansk Regional Duma commented on reports that appeared in the media that air defense costs would be included in utility bills for the population. The legislature said it was fake.
However, as our publication managed to find out, the denials of the Russian media do not correspond to reality.
Suspicion was aroused by the fact that the website of the Bryansk Regional Duma was blocked.
At the same time, the page with the publication on the collection of utility bills for air defense is stored in the Google cache:
This allows us to conclude that the administration of the Bryansk region and the Russian media are lying about the publication being fake. The Bryansk Regional Duma really considered the issue of including air defense costs in utility bills.
In turn, this fact raises a lot of questions: on what basis should Russian citizens bear additional defense spending if Russia’s military budget is formed from citizens’ taxes?
For several decades, the Russian media have said that Russia has some of the best air defense systems in the world. Now it turns out that the state does not have the means to ensure the protection of the sky over the heads of the inhabitants of Russia.
If the government is not able to provide citizens with reliable protection, why is such a government needed at all?
The citizens of Russia have been lied to for many years and continue to be lied to now.
