The third round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine has ended in Belarus. The Russian side is disappointed.
The head of the Russian delegation, Medynsky, did not hide his disappointment. According to him, the Russian side prepared documents for signing agreements on the terms of Russia, but the delegation of Ukraine did not sign the documents, but took them to Kiev for study.
Insiders report that the demands of the Russian side have softened, there are no longer demands for denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine.
Putin’s demands for Zelensky are as follows:
- Recognition of Crimea
- Recognition of the DPR and LPR
- Refusal to join NATO
President Zelensky rejected the proposals.
At the same time, there are no special successes of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine. Ukraine’s air defenses are still shooting down Russian planes and helicopters, columns of Russian equipment are on the approaches to Kiev.
During the talks, agreements were reached on the provision of humanitarian corridors for the withdrawal of civilians, mainly women and children, tomorrow 8 March from 10.00 am.
